Tohru and Yuki walked back to the house in a silence that was only broken with random rustlings and noises in the forest. Tohru glanced at Yuki and saw that he had a small package in his hands.
    "Yuki-kun? He looked back at her and nodded. "Um... May I ask what is in that box you have?" Yuki smiled and shook the box.
    "I have absolutely no idea, Honda-san," Yuki said laughingly. "Kimi-chan gave it to me, but if I know her it probably has something to do with chocolate."
    "Oh," Tohru said quietly and she looked down. Kimi-chan has been giving presents to Yuki-kun a lot lately, she thought. I wonder how he feels about that? Does he even care?
    "Where are you planning to go with Kyo?" Tohru gave a start, but smiled happily.
    "Well, I was hoping that maybe we could go to the park for a walk and then on the way home we could stop at an ice cream shop!" she said excitedly.
    "You like spending time with Kyo... Don't you?" Tohru paused and looked at Yuki. He had a sort of sad smile on his face.
    "Wh...What?"
    "Nevermind. We're almost home," Yuki said as he began to quicken his pace.
    "Wait!" Yuki stopped when he felt Tohru's hand on his arm.
    "Honda-san..."
    "Yes. Yes I do, but he and I are friends! Just friends," Tohru said insistently. Yuki saw the determined look on Tohru's face, but he saw in her eyes that Tohru thought of Kyo as more than a friend.
    "..."
    "Yuki-kun?"
    "I see. We are home Honda-san." Tohru let go of Yuki's arm and saw that he was right.
    "Oh."
    "Go upstairs and get changed. Kyo is waiting for you to get back and I think we took too long to get here," Yuki said and Tohru ran up the stairs.
    Yuki smiled as he heard her scuffling around upstairs and he looked around the yard. His gaze stopped upon the clothes line and as the laundry swayed, feelings swirled in his heart.
    I may hate Kyo, Yuki thought, but sometimes I wish I was him...
